Okay, so not the whole farm, but she did buy a sheep!!! Remember that contest that she was running that I mentioned here? She didn’t actually hit the “sheep” mark, but she went and bought it anyway. Cool, right? I thought so. And that gift of hers will give a family the hope and ability to provide for their family and grow their dreams. What a fantastic gift. Well done, friend!
And, apparently, she also has a story featured in Chicken Soup for the Dieter’s Soul: Inspiration and Humor to Help You Over the Hump. I haven’t seen Kate’s submission yet, but I’m guessing that at least parts of it fall in the “humor” category.
I will definitely be getting this book! Partly because I think there will be lots of stories that I can relate to, and partly because it will be so fun to have a book with Kate’s writing in it! I wonder if I can get it autographed.
Of course I will autograph your copy. I will even drive to your house and sign it for you….I just have to figure out how to drive over the ocean. As soon as I do, I am there.
Kate: I knew you loved me.
Kerri, where does Kate live? Kate, where do you live?
Wish I had seen this sooner, I would have clicked away. I saw your original post, and laughed. I also love World Vision, and I am so glad she bought the sheep.
I did click, even though it is past the deadline! oh well, Every click helps somewhere.
Happy new Year, Angel
Doug: Just for safety, I’m not gonna post Kate’s location out here. I think she’s posted it on-line, but I can’t remember for sure!
Kate: Doug’s my brother, in case you’re wondering who’s asking for your whereabouts.
I was so happy she bought the sheep, and YES every click is good!!!!!!
Angel: Thanks for letting me know you laughed. Glad to know I’m not the only one I amuse.
Not even a city or country!? Wow. People worry far too much these days.
