A few things… May 15, 2007

Filed under: Craziness, What's going on... — mnim @ 11:28 pm

Hello readers!!! I haven’t abandoned you, I promise. Life’s a bit crazy right now, and I haven’t had time to share how crazy just yet. It’s odd, though, because I’ll often be in the midst of a crazy moment/event/whatever and think, “I can’t wait til I have time to blog this!!!!”

Anyway, not a whole lot of time to write tonight, but a few things I’ve been meaning to remember to let you know about:

  • Bald Man and I started a new blog with b5media. Marriage Actually. Yeah, I know, you just couldn’t get enough of us already, that’s why we did it. We’re so giving like that. ;)
  • I told Rantz eons ago that I would mention his friend’s plans to take a trip in order to teach and help others. Sorry it’s taken so long Rantz! I wasn’t sure how to get the info out here, really, so here is the most basic of it all. If you want to know how to do more to help his friend, let me know and I’ll get you in touch with Rantz.
  • My friend Kate included me as an expert (heehee) in the world of the Blogger’s Butt and included a portion of our e-mail interview in this article here. Go check me out. :P
  • Just realized that I hadn’t mentioned out here my loss of Hsien as my co-author at Play Library! I miss her tons there (I do, Hsien!), but am proud of her branching out on her own in her area of passion. Check her out at Eye On DNA.
  • Don’t forget about our World Vision BBQ!!!! It’s coming up quickly, and we’d love to see you there!
  • I’ll see you back here tomorrow for some exciting news. Well, exciting for me, anyway. :P

      Kerri,

Wow, I can’t believe you two are doing yet ANOTHER blog. I envy you to be able to do all that writing. Hopefully one day I too will have that time, but first I have to make my name Daddy for a while.

Thank you for the link to the website. I think this is a really great project and I hope them tons of success for the people of Mamelodi.

I am looking forward to the World Vision cookout. I don’t know how serious you are about me maning the grill for you, but if you want I’ll do it. I do plan on smoking a brisket and bringing it over unless you think otherwise (Hey more for me).

I haven’t forgotten your invitation. I’m still working out the time. I’m in the middle of a few new projects of my own that are killing me.

Hooray! You have not dropped off the face of the blogosphere!

But how very mean to make us wait ONE WHOLE DAY for your new news. *grump*

    4. Kerri Says:

Rantz: Oh, I was totally serious about you manning the grill, and would love for you to bring your famous brisket!!! Not that you have to do either, just attending would be fantastic, but since you said you would, I’m writing your name under grill master! :D Do we know about when you’ll officially be Daddy? And whether, in about 14 years, you’ll be called “Dad” in a baritone or soprano voice? :D

    5. Kerri Says:

Sheila: I’m still here!!!! I should (she says with her fingers crossed) be posting a bit more frequently soon enough. :D Don’t get too excited about the news, it’s not anything amazing. ;)
